So. What makes us different than a local school like the New York Real Estate Institute?

Convenience & Flexibility:

  • With The CE Shop, you can complete ALL your New York Salesperson Pre-Licensing education at home, at your own pace. The only thing you have to complete in person is your final course exam. If you have a busy schedule, our courses are perfect for you.

  • With the New York Real Estate Institute, your courses are also self-paced. But, there is a caveat — you have to complete them within four months. If you don’t, you’ll have to buy an extension to continue. The CE Shop gives you a longer period to complete your courses.

We Pay for Your Licensing Exam if You Fail:

  • If you complete one of our Pre-Licensing course packages that includes the Exam Prep Edge study aid and you fail (which isn’t likely), The CE Shop will reimburse you for the initial cost of your licensing exam (assuming you demonstrated mastery in your Exam Prep Edge course).

  • With the New York Real Estate Institute, there is no exam reimbursement.

Refundable Courses Within 30 Days:

  • If you aren’t happy for any reason, The CE Shop will refund the entire purchase price on your course if you submit the request within 30 days of purchase, prior to the course expiration date, and the course isn’t more than 50% complete.

  • With the New York Real Estate Institute, refunds are only given within three days of registration. They deduct an administrative fee of $25 from your refund. If it’s outside of the 3-day window, you’ll lose your money but get school credit instead. There are no refunds for books or course materials.
