Provided by AHIT. This online home inspection course offers an in-depth overview of what green building is and how the term relates to the home inspector. You will be introduced to materials and systems the home inspector may see in the next 1-3 years during a property inspection, learn what the built structure has to do with global warming concerns, and how renewable energy and resources technologies will change the way homes use renewable energy.
Reporting (SOP requirements, safety issues, recommendations)
Home Inspection License Expiration: 12/14 every two years (even)
Hours Required by the State: 40 hours every two years
Reporting: The state does not require schools to report course completions.
Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary by course. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in your account. See Terms & Conditions for more details.
Certificates: Immediately upon course completions, AHIT will provide students with an electronic copy of the course certificate of completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Please refer to your application to determine if you need to submit your certificate(s) of completion. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date on your certificate of completion will reflect this.
