This 30-hr course covers Promulgated Contracts and Forms in Texas. The course helps prepare you for the Texas licensing exam, as well as provides the foundation knowledge necessary to be a successful real estate Sales Agent.

To apply for a Texas Real Estate Sales Agent’s license, you need to complete six courses (180 credit hours): Principles of Real Estate I (30 hours), Principles of Real Estate II (30 hours), Law of Agency (30 hours), Law of Contracts (30 hours), Promulgated Contracts and Forms (30 hours), and Real Estate Finance (30 hours). This course covers the 30 hours of content required in the Promulgated Contract Forms courses, as stipulated by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC).

The course covers unauthorized practice of law, the broker-lawyer committee, current promulgated forms, and commission rules governing use of forms. The course also includes case studies involving the use of forms.
