In this comprehensive 30-hour course, you’ll explore the legal systems and sources of law that influence professional practices, including constitutional, administrative, and statutory law.
You’ll learn how contracts are created, enforced, and sometimes breached, as well as the remedies available in professional disputes. Additional focus is given to agency relationships and fiduciary duties, helping you understand the responsibilities and liabilities that arise when representing others. The course also examines business structures, property rights, and issues such as title transfer, zoning, and landlord-tenant law—critical areas for professionals working in property transactions or development fields.
Beyond foundational law, you’ll examine how emerging technologies and privacy compliance impact business operations, including data security, consumer protection, and digital marketing. Employment law topics provide clarity on classification, discrimination, and workplace protections, while professional liability modules address negligence, malpractice, and risk management.
By connecting legal theory to real-world practice, this course prepares you to identify legal risks, uphold professional standards, and confidently manage the complexities of today’s business environment.
