Next Steps Towards Getting Your Virginia License
Congratulations on completing your 60 hours of Virginia real estate salesperson pre-licensing education! The next step is to tackle your licensing exam. For the best chance at success, we recommend the following steps:
Obtain a license application through the DPOR site.
Make an exam appointment through PSI.
Familiarize yourself with the content of the licensing exam by reviewing the exam Content Outline on pages 3-5 of the PSI Candidate Handbook.
Take advantage of the state and national practice exams, available at the end of your course. Even though you were required to pass the exams with a score of at least 80%, we suggest continuing to take them until you can consistently score a 90% or better.
