Next Steps Towards Getting Your Texas License

NEXT STEPS

Congratulations on completing your 180 hours (6 courses) of Texas real estate Salesperson pre-licensing education! You are now ready to file your application, get your fingerprints taken and pass your background check, and take your licensing exam. TREC provides step-by-step instructions on its website page titled Become a Real Estate Sales Agent.

To give you the best chance at success, we recommend taking the following steps:

Familiarize yourself with the content of the licensing exam by reviewing the exam content outlined on pages 26-28 of the PearsonVue Candidate Handbook.

Take advantage of the “Texas Pre-Licensing – Practice Exams” course that has been included to you free of charge. These practice exams are available at the end of your course.

Get mentally prepared by reviewing these Study Tips.

The Texas real estate licensing exam consists of both national and state-specific questions. To best prepare you to rock the exam, here’s a breakdown of the topics that you’ll encounter on the licensing exam:
