Give Your Clients a Gift They’ll Remember

The holiday season is a time full of joy, laughter, and stress. December can sometimes feel like a whirlwind, leaving little time to think about client outreach and appreciation. However, this is the best time to reach out to your clients and show them how much you appreciate their business. If finding gifts for your clients seems like an overwhelming task on your seemingly never-ending to-do list, we’re here to help ease some of that stress so you can properly enjoy the holidays. Here are a few simple and easy gifts that you can give your clients without too much of a hassle.

The Personalized Item

Even the simplest personal touches can make a big difference in a gift and are fairly easy to accomplish. If you want to send a gift to each of your clients, find a small item that everyone could appreciate - an ornament, a dreidel, or maybe a snowflake trinket. Then, write their names, address, or, if you’re an artist, draw your client on the item. This will show that you have put some thought into your gift and your clients will admire the homemade look and feel.

The Subscription Box

Subscription boxes are becoming more and more popular for their unique offerings and their convenience. Do you have a client who loves puzzles and completing escape rooms? There’s a subscription box for that. What about the client who is an aspiring mixologist? There’s a box for that too! These subscriptions will automatically serve as monthly check-ins for you and reminders to your clients on how invested you are.

The Family Recipe

Home cooking truly shines during the holiday season. Whether it's a potluck, a family gathering, or an office party, bringing a time-tested family recipe is always a good idea. Not only is it better tasting than something store-bought, but it also brings history and community with it. When you cook your family’s recipes for your clients, you’re opening up to them and sharing your personal life. This will create a stronger relationship between you both.

The Gift Card

This old standby never disappoints. It may not seem as personal as some of the other gifts on this list but you can use conversations you’ve had with your clients to help inform your decision and select a gift card that is meaningful to them. If they love movies, spring for an AMC gift card. If you’ve had meetings with your clients at Starbucks, they would probably appreciate receiving money toward their next visit. Who knows, they might even treat you!

Whatever gift you decide to give, make sure you also include a thoughtful handwritten note. Little details like this will go a long way to make your gift a memorable one.
