In February 2018 Creig's real estate team transitioned to a full-service brokerage - Northrop Realty, A Long & Foster Company. The brokerage has grown to encompass eight office locations, becoming a household name in the process. Creig has created much more than just a team with a common goal; he's created a culture that rewards hard work and customer satisfaction. With agents living in the same markets as their clients, they are not only selling to customers, they're selling to future neighbors.
A Commitment to Developing Professionally
Creig has had an exemplary career and continues to excel while sharing his knowledge and experience with his 150+ agents. Through NorthropU, an internal training and mentor program, training seminars and educational classes allow Creig to help new agents navigate through their career path. Creig founded NorthropU in February 2018 with the goal to instill thorough real estate and marketing knowledge to company members. NorthropU classes include themes from marketing and branding to No Limits Selling.
A Focus on Customer Service
Creig makes himself available and easily accessible to his clients. He also employs Client Care Coordinators who act as a liaison between the agents and their clients, maintaining clearer lines of communication and a more seamless process for clients. Creig goes above and beyond to provide robust marketing and listing exposure for his clients and is always looking to be innovative when it comes to new ways of doing things. For example, several years ago Creig was one of the very first agents to employ the use of Matterport 3D tours for his company's listings. This greatly helped his clients showcase their beautiful homes and decreased the time a property was on the market.
Contributing to the Community
Creig is an extremely active member of his community and strives to be a philanthropic role model amongst his peers. Recently, Northrop Realty played a role in helping the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation. Northrop Realty was the premium sponsor of Zaching Against Cancer in November 2018 at Turf Valley in Ellicott City, MD. They have also helped contribute to The Zaching Running Festival, which provides a 1 mile, 5K or 10K option for 1,000+ runners. On top of their efforts with The Zaching Against Cancer Foundation, Creig and his company have helped with the Torrey Smith Family Fund, L.E.V.E.L. Up Camp. The foundation’s mission is to give youth the skills and opportunity they need to build a strong foundation for a life of success and purpose. Creig and his wife Carla Northrop, along with Northrop Realty, have been supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation—Maryland Chapter for many years. Creig is truly a role model in his community when it comes to serving others.
