WA Post-Licensing: Real Estate Law
Post-licensing is all about merging your book knowledge with practical field application. Prior to their first license renewal, new real estate brokers complete 60 hours of post-licensing education, with half of those hours covering Real Estate Law. This 30-hour Real Estate Law course frames pre-licensing information within the context of day-to-day duties. The relationship between everyday practice and the law provides the framework for the course. The role of brokers, Washington license law, agency law, contracts, torts, the legal environment, and current topics all relate back to this core. Examples, case studies, and activities drive the lessons. Advice from experienced professionals pairs with contemporary ideas on business practice and relationship management to promote success in the industry.
