Vermont State Requirement Details for Real Estate Continuing Education
School Code/Approval Number: Vermont does not issue a school code or course approval numbers.
Every two (2) years, 16 hours of Continuing Education including a 4 hour core course is required.
- All sales agents renew on May 31 and Brokers renew on March 31 every even year.
- The CE Shop offers only elective hours at this time. Please see our catalog for elective course listings.
Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process to ensure the reporting of your hours takes place. Vermont license numbers are 10 digits.
