South Carolina State Requirement Details for Real Estate Continuing Education

South Carolina Approved Real Estate Education Provider: Code/Approval Number: 318

Every two (2) years, eight (8) clock hours of Real Estate Continuing Education is required. 

·         A minimum of two (2) hours must be core hours, and the remaining six (6) hours may be core or elective hours.  The CE Shop does not offer the core hours at this time.

·         Note: look at the expiration date on your license and count back two (2) years. If it shows 6/30/07, then you have to have completed eight (8) hours of continuing education from 07/01/05 to 06/30/07.

Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time.  Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state.  Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.

Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process. South Carolina license numbers should be six (6) digits.
