Hawaii State Requirement Details for Real Estate Continuing Education

The CE Shop is an approved provider in Hawaii: Provider Number: 1479

Every two (2) years in even numbered years, 10 hours of Real Estate Continuing Education is required.

  • Licensees must complete 10 total hours (4 hours mandatory and 6 hours elective) by 11/30 of even numbered years and must renew their license by 12/31 of even numbered years. Currently, The CE Shop only offers the 6 hours of elective courses.
  • According to Hawaii's Admin. Rule HAR Section 16-99-95, a Hawaii real estate licensee is not allowed to receive credit for duplicate courses in the entire life of their license history. Please ensure in your account on our website PRIOR to ordering that you do not order a course you have already taken with our school to ensure you are in compliance with this rule enforced by the Hawaii Real Estate Commission.

Real estate course completions are recorded with the Hawaii Real Estate Commission each business day in the afternoon CST. If you want or need to print the certificate of completion** issued by the Hawaii Real Estate Commission, you will have to wait until the end of the next business day AFTER you have completed your course to go to the HI website at https://pvl.ehawaii.gov/rece/app/licensee_lf.html to print that certificate to ensure that the hours were reported by our school. **If you are trying to reactivate or restore your license you will need to send the Hawaii Real Estate Commission certificate to Hawaii with your paperwork.

Please enter your name as on license and your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process or your hours may not be reported to the Commission properly thus possibly preventing you from renewing your license. Hawaii real estate license numbers begin with RS or RB and 4-5 digits follow. It is the licensee's responsibility to ensure they provide the school with the correct information.
