The CE Shop is an approved licensed real estate school in Florida: License (Permit) Number: ZH1002334
Every two (2) years, 14 clock hours of Real Estate Continuing Education is required including a 3 hour Florida Legal Issues/Update (Law) mandatory course.
- If your required education is not complete and/or reported, you will NOT be able to renew your license.
- Renewal deadlines occur each year on March 31st and September 30th. The date you renew every 2 years depends on when you initially took your licensing exam and should be indicated on your license.
-
If this is your first renewal then you must complete your post-license education which must be completed on or before the expiration date of the license of the first renewal. Currently, The CE Shop does NOT offer the post-licensing courses.
- Sales associates are required to complete a 45-hr Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Post License Course 18-24 months after obtaining the initial license.
- Brokers are required to complete TWO 30-hr post-licensing courses -- an investment course and a management course, 18-24 months after obtaining the initial broker's license.
- If you did not renew your license in the previous renewal cycle and it has been less than 12 months that you did not renew, then you are required to complete – 14 hours of approved continuing education.
Real estate course completions are recorded with the FL Division of Real Estate once a week on Thursdays. It may take 2-4 business days from the time we report your hours before the Division updates your license and/or updates their website with the hours.
Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process to ensure the reporting of your hours takes place.
