Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection: Occupational and Professional Licensing Division School Code/Approval Number: 1026
Every two (2) years, twelve (12) clock hours of Real Estate Continuing Education is required.
· Licensees renew on May 31st every even-numbered year for Salespersons, and March 31st every even-numbered year for Brokers.
· Six (6) hours must be mandatory hours: Current Issues in Real Estate I (3 hours) and Current Issues in Real Estate II (3 hours). The CE Shop does not offer these courses at this time. Choose from elective courses below.
Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
Real estate course completions are recorded with PSI as required by the Department of Consumer Protection in Connecticut once a week on Mondays. It may take 2-4 business days from the time we report your hours before the Commission updates your license and/or updates their website with the hours.
Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process to ensure the reporting of your hours takes place. Connecticut license numbers should be 7 digits and usually start with a zero (0).
Each of the real estate courses below has been approved for our school. Individual course approval numbers are not provided by the state.
